Misty Fjords Guided Hiking Tour

This tour combines the beauty of our regular Misty Fiords flightseeing tour with additional time set aside for a breathtaking walk. There are several US Forest Service  hiking trails to choose from. You can hike down a massive waterfall or along a salmon spawning stream while the granite walls of the fjords tower over your head!  It’s a great way to stretch your legs and take in the sights.

Michelle will be your guide for groups of five or six people, and our Island Wings guide will take smaller groups. If your timing is right this trail is loaded with blueberries, Michelle's favorite!

Sections of the trail vary in difficulty, with areas of boardwalk, rocks and dirt. Good comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Trails are often muddy in sections so don't take photos of your feet and bring lots of memory storage and batteries!

Four Hour Tour Includes: one and a half hours flight time and two and a half hours hiking with a guide.  All tours include complimentary ground transportation to and from our dock which adds fifteen minutes to the beginning and the end of your tour. For this four hour tour you will need to budget four and a half hours total time.

Price: $479 per person (2-4 persons)
           $409 per person (5-6 persons)

Deluxe Self-Guided Hiking Tour

Fly through the Tongass National Forest across Revillagegedo Island to a pristine alpine lake and a remote US Forest Service maintained trail. You'll hike a gentle trail through spectacular stands of old growth forests along a river. This is a great way to spend a day in the wilderness for those who have a little taste for adventure. You can spend up to ten hours, as little or as long as you like exploring the trail or just sitting by the river. The trail can be hiked up to a maximum of six miles or as little as you are inclined. Bring a daypack, lunch and lots of film. Bald eagles frequent the river due to the spawning salmon, along with deer, and the occasional black bear.

Price: dependent on location, please call for quote.
